New Delhi [India], December 19: <\/strong>The\u00a0Search Light International Film Festival-25<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0Mumbai<\/strong> successfully concluded on 14 Dec 2025 with an inspiring celebration of independent cinema, emerging voices, and powerful storytelling from across the globe. The festival witnessed enthusiastic participation from filmmakers, film lovers, critics, and industry professionals, reaffirming its growing reputation as a significant platform for meaningful and socially relevant cinema.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s edition received\u00a0entries from more than 18 countries<\/strong>, showcasing a diverse range of feature films, short films, documentaries, animations, and experimental works like\u00a0LUJURIA directed by I\u00f1aki Aguilar from Maxico, THE 1OO directed by Raghav Omkar Sasidhar from India, Only the dead fish go with the flow directed by Gomes Christophe from France & more.\u00a0The carefully curated official selection reflected bold narratives and strong thematic depth, highlighting voices that often remain underrepresented in mainstream cinema.<\/p>\n

The festival screenings at Mumbai were met with\u00a0overwhelming audience response<\/strong>, sparking engaging discussions, filmmaker interactions, and insightful Q&A sessions. The jury\u2014comprising respected filmmakers, critics, and industry experts\u2014praised the overall quality of submissions and the courage of filmmakers in addressing contemporary and thought-provoking subjects.<\/p>\n

Little Yellow Flower directed by Chien-Ping Lin from Taiwan won best short film, Tristan is wild directed by Borja Pascual from Spain won best short film- jury, Tell The Wind Too directed by Sina Khani from Iran won best feature film, Afterwards directed by M\u00e1rcio Andrade won best animation, Leti so mnoy \u2013 fly with me directed by Michaela Maria Emzero from Austria won best director- jury etc<\/p>\n
