Organised through a\u00a0<em>combined effort of the ISCCM Delhi\u2013Noida and Gurugram Critical Care Societies<\/em>, this landmark edition brought the two chapters together for the first time to create a unified NCR-wide academic platform for critical care medicine.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s gathering welcomed\u00a0<strong>over 600 delegates from all over India<\/strong>, including intensivists, anaesthesiologists, emergency physicians, nurses, and postgraduate trainees, making it one of the most widely attended editions to date. The theme,\u00a0<strong>\u201cBridging the Gaps: Translating Vision into Action,\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0focused on translating evidence-based clinical knowledge into practical ICU strategies.<\/p>\n<p>The academic program opened with specialised\u00a0<strong>hands-on workshops on 14 November 2025<\/strong>, hosted across six leading NCR hospitals, including Medanta, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, BLK-Max Hospital, and others. The workshops covered essential ICU domains such as mechanical ventilation, airway management, haemodynamic monitoring, point-of-care ultrasound, and simulation-based learning.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>main conference on 15\u201316 November 2025<\/strong>\u00a0featured keynote lectures, expert panel discussions, case-based learning sessions, rapid-fire modules, skill stations, and scientific presentations. The conference was inaugurated by a distinguished group of national faculty:\u00a0<strong>Dr. Deepak Govil<\/strong>, Vice Chairman of the Critical Care Unit at Medanta Hospital, Gurugram; Director of Liver Transplant &amp; Hepatology Critical Care; and Director of Gastroenterology &amp; Gastro-surgery Critical Care;\u00a0<strong>Dr. Y.P. Singh<\/strong>, Principal Director &amp; Zonal Head, Critical Care Medicine, Max Patparganj;\u00a0<strong>Dr. Rajesh Pandey<\/strong>, Principal Director &amp; HOD, Critical Care Medicine, BLK-Max;\u00a0<strong>Dr. Shiela Nainan Myntra<\/strong>, Professor, Anaesthesia &amp; Critical Care, Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai;\u00a0<strong>Dr. Anil Gurnani<\/strong>, Group Director, Critical Care Medicine, Kailash Group of Hospitals;\u00a0<strong>Dr. Prashant Saxena<\/strong>, Principal Director, Pulmonary &amp; Critical Care, Fortis Vasant Kunj &amp; FMRI Gurugram;\u00a0<strong>Dr. Tarun Jambh<\/strong>, Intensivist, Manipal Hospital Gurugram;\u00a0<strong>Dr. Sweta Patel<\/strong>, Director, Critical Care Medicine, Medanta Noida; and\u00a0<strong>Dr. Akhil Taneja<\/strong>, Associate Director, Critical Care Medicine, Max Patparganj.<\/p>\n<p>A major academic highlight of the\u00a0<strong>1st NCR MegaCritiCon<\/strong>\u00a0was the\u00a0<strong>Oration Session<\/strong>, delivered by\u00a0<strong>Dr. Anil Gurnani, Group Director, Critical Care Medicine, Kailash Group of Hospitals<\/strong>. His insightful talk on\u00a0<em>\u201cPearls of Critical Care\u201d<\/em>\u00a0was widely appreciated by delegates and was followed by a formal felicitation.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking about the success of this historic edition,\u00a0<strong>Dr. Prashant Saxena<\/strong>, Organizing Chairperson, said:\u00a0<strong>\u201cThe 1st NCR MegaCritiCon brought together more than 600 doctors from across India, creating an exceptional academic environment.
